Dr. Mark Nevid Announces His Retirement

Dear Patients and Friends,

After 39 years of practice in Pawling, it is with both joy and sadness that I share my decision to retire, effective June 22, 2026. This has been a difficult and deeply personal choice, but the time feels right for me and my family.

I am incredibly proud of the practice we have built together. From my humble beginnings at 20 Charles Colman Blvd to our beautiful current office, this journey has been the honor of a lifetime. Alongside my wonderful staff, we created a strong foundation and a reputation rooted in personalized, family-focused care. Our goal was always to serve the dental needs of the Pawling community with excellence, compassion, and integrity.

Many of you already know my colleagues and staff at Nevid Dental. I am leaving you in exceptional hands. This is, without question, the finest dental team in Dutchess County. Led by Dr. Andrew Adams, Dr. Christina Williams, Dr. Arthur Cosden, and Dr. Sid Tucker, supported by our outstanding hygienists, assistants, front desk team, and practice manager, you will continue to receive the same level of care, professionalism, and warmth you have always known. I have been truly blessed to work alongside them, and I hope you will extend to them the same trust and loyalty you have shown me over the years.

Serving Pawling and its surrounding communities has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Many of you have become friends and even family. We have shared stories, hardships, jokes, and celebrations—moments that have created memories I will carry with me forever. For this, I am eternally grateful.

I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my staff, my colleagues, Dental Care Alliance, and my wonderful wife Wendy, whose support helped make this dream possible. And most importantly, thank you, my patients and friends, for welcoming me into your lives and trusting me with your care for nearly four decades. It has truly been a pleasure.
